The Survey was open Nov. 5 to Dec. 6. Three hundred and thirty-three employees responded to the survey, the vast majority of whom are teachers and coaches.
Major concerns identified in this survey continue to be workload, paperwork, planning time and the cost of insurance.
BFT continues to work with the district for improvement in these areas.
The Survey results were presented to the BISD Board of Trustees on Dec. 15.
This year’s survey was conducted Nov. 9 to Dec. 5. Three hundred fifty one employees responded to the survey, which represents about 24% of district employees. According Meeting Professionals International, this gives our survey a 95% accuracy rate.
District wide information was presented to the BISD Board of Trustees in December. Campus results were reported in January.
BFT conducted a Survey of Employee Satisfaction open to all BISD employees between November 4 and 30, 2012. Three hundred fourteen responses were collected. The purpose of the Survey is to identify what areas of BISD are working well and what areas need improvement. The results are presented in chart form to facilitate the quick comparison of ratings and questions.

BFT conducted a Survey of Employee Satisfaction open to all BISD employees in Jan. 2012. While the results arrived later than expected, they are no less reflective of the opinions of many of the employees at BISD. It is our greatest hope that the information gleaned from this survey will be used to acknowledge those doing well and to focus positive change in those areas that need it.
